Ana Mari Rivero Weiss M.S., CCC-SLP, President
Ana Mari is a licensed and registered Speech Language Pathologist in Florida. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, where she attained her Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCC). She is the president of Express Yourself-Speech Language Therapy and has achieved a Master of Science in both Speech Language Pathology and Exceptional Student Education (ESE). Ana Mari is passionate about working with children and devoting her life to helping children with communication difficulties. She bases her principles on meeting every child’s unique and individual needs by incorporating a variety of therapy techniques that provide effective and enjoyable therapy sessions. Individual sessions provide intensive therapy to promote maximum progress. Motivating games, manipulatives, and interactive applications make sessions appealing to all ages. Ana Mari also engages the children in social pragmatic group sessions which provide children the opportunity to practice appropriate social behaviors, helping them achieve confidence during every day social interactions. Ana Mari has extensive experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, auditory processing disorders, feeding disorders, articulation and fluency disorders, as well as children with social and pragmatic delays. She is a certified provider for the DIR: Floortime as well as the Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention. Ana Mari is proud to have focused her career as a speech and language pathologist in helping children with special needs by using both traditional methods and cutting edge therapy techniques to provide highly effective outcomes.
Carolina Sanchez, M.S., CCC-SLP
Carolina E. Sanchez is a licensed speech language pathologist in the state of Florida. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, where she attained her Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCC). She achieved a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development and a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from Florida International University. She is passionate about working with children. Throughout her career she has attained experience in working with children of all ages with special needs individually and in groups. She has experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorders, Feeding Disorders, Articulation Disorders, Fluency Disorders, and Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders, as well as Social and Pragmatic Language delays. Her goal is to make a difference in the lives of children and improve their everyday communication skills.
Gabriella Garcia, M.S., CCC-SLP
Gabriella is a bilingual pediatric speech-language pathologist licensed in the state of Florida and holds her Certificate of Competence through ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). She earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Exceptional Student Education from Miami-Dade College in 2010 and taught Kindergarten for a year. She advanced her education and earned her Master's degree from Florida State University in Communication Science and Disorders in 2013 and was a recipient of the Traineeship in Interdisciplinary Early Intervention in Severe Disabilities (TIES) Grant during her studies. Gabriella has experience providing evaluation and intervention with children ages 9 months through 18 years in the home, school, and hospital settings. She is trained in S.O.S. Approach to Feeding, DIR: Floortime, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, and Reading with TLC. Additionally, Gabriella is trained in Children's Yoga and Yoga for Babies & Toddlers. She co-founded Kids Yoga Flow in May of 2018 with a pediatric occupational therapist which promotes optimal child development through mindful movement, sensory play, language and literacy development, fine-motor and gross-motor activities, posture, breath work, and social interactions with peers. Gabriella integrates her passions of movement, communication, and play during her treatment sessions to provide the children and families she serves with high-quality and effective interventions.
